Eating & drinking
Over a hundred outlets across the two terminals — and the ones actually worth your boarding time.
100+ outlets
Terminal 2 alone lists over a hundred food and beverage outlets across four levels.
Open around the clock
The airport runs 24 hours and most outlets with it — at T1, thirteen of fourteen trade 24/7.
Vegetarian & Jain
Widely available, including Jain buffet options in several lounges. This is an easy airport to eat well in without meat.
Gate delivery
Blinkit delivers snacks and drinks to gates, lounges and the food court in T2 domestic departures.
Where we would actually eat
A hundred outlets is a lot of noise. These are the ones that justify the walk.
Zambar
South Indian and coastal cooking — appam, stew, Kerala fish curry. The most convincing regional food airside, and a far better use of an hour than another burger.
Jumbo King
Vada pav, done properly, for the price of a coffee elsewhere in the terminal. The single most Mumbai thing you can eat before you leave Mumbai.
Mitti Café
An outlet of the Indian social enterprise known for employing adults with disabilities. Good coffee, and the best story in the building.
International departures
Past immigration, centred on the international food court and the gate piers.

Late-night arrivals
Mumbai's long-haul bank lands between roughly 23:00 and 04:00, and the airport is built for it. Food, the pharmacy and duty free all trade around the clock.
What is not guaranteed around the clock is the metro — last trains run close to 23:40. If you land after that, plan on a prepaid taxi.
Taxi optionsEating in arrivals
Useful if you are meeting someone, waiting out a traffic peak, or simply not ready to face the drive.
